We do not work with all retail Brokers, we need to have a partnership understanding and share similar strategies / values - see our 'Trading with Us' section.  Our typical Broker clients have above average client retention and longevity of relationship.

Our placing Brokers each manage and control their own account and their earnings are directly linked to the fee income derived from their account.  Our Brokers have the freedom to trade with any Insurer they feel meet your client's requirements - providing the Insurer has been security approved - therefore avoiding group 'preferred Insurer' strategies.  Each of our placing Brokers will bring different specialisms to the proposition and our clients are free to choose whichever Broker they feel appropriate for a specific account/policy. Our Brokers have the freedom to negotiate a fee that they feel is appropriate for their time and they also retain the responsibility for the day-to-day servicing and renewal of their account. 

 

Encompass have direct access to Underwriters who, for the majority of risks, are able to make decisions immediately, without the need for referral to a head office and the resultant delays.  The team at Encompass have had trading relationships with many of these underwriters for over 20 years, relationships that have been built on trust, a trait that underlies everything we do.​
